The Claim for such illnesses/diseases/disabilities contracted/suffered if admitted will be processed as per the Sum Insured of immediately preceding 24 months policy only. Where there is a change in the sum insured in the second continuous policy year the lower of the sum insured will apply.

Star Cardiac Care Health Insurance Policy Details

  • This policy is for persons who have undergone for the first time the named surgery / intervention / correction for the existing Cardiac diseases.
  • This policy has two Plan options – Gold Plan and Silver Plan
  • Silver Plan pays for expenses incurred as an inpatient for treatment in respect of all cardiac related complications that necessitate surgery/intervention
  • Gold Plan pays for expenses incurred as an inpatient for treatment in respect of all cardiac related complications that necessitate medical management, surgery/intervention.
  • Under both the Plans regular hospitalization is covered under Section 1 and all Cardiac related ailments are covered under Section 2.

Policy Benefits: (Applicable for Both Silver Plan and Gold Plan)

Hospitalization cover

  • Protects the insured for in patient hospitalisation expenses for a minimum of 24 hrs. These expenses include room, nursing and boarding charges, Surgeon, Anaesthetist, Medical Practitioner, Consultants, Specialist Fees, Oxygen, Operation Theatre, Diagnostics, imaging modalities and Cost of Medicines and Drugs, Oxygen, Blood, Operation theatre, Diagnostic and Imaging modalities.
  • Ambulance charges for emergency transportation to hospital as per specified limits.
  • Pre-Hospitalization expenses up to 30 days prior to admission in the hospital.

Out-Patient Expenses

The Company will pay the amount of such expenses as are reasonably and necessarily incurred at the network hospitals/diagnostic centres as an Out Patient, provided the policy is in force

The limit of benefit under this Section is Rs.500/- per event subject to a maximum of Rs.1500/- per policy period, provided policy is in force. This benefit forms part of the Sum Insured.

Personal Accident

If at any time during the Period of Insurance, the Insured Person shall sustain any bodily injury resulting solely and directly from an Accident caused by external, violent and visible means and if such accident causes death of the Insured Person within 12 Calendar months from the date of Accident, then the Company will pay the Sum Insured mentioned in the schedule as compensation.


Star Cardiac Care Insurance Policy ELIGIBILITY


  • Star Cardiac Care Insurance can be taken by any person between 10 years and 65 years of age, who has undergone for the first time.
  • PTCA (Stenting) or CABG (By-pass) procedure,  within 7 years prior to the date of policy purchase or
  • Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) or Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) that has been corrected  or
  • Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) that has been treated or
  • RF Ablation done to correct the underlying cardiac condition or
  • Had an Angiogram done but no intervention was medically found necessary.

Tax Benefits

Amount paid by any mode other than by cash for this insurance is eligible for relief under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act.

Free Look Period

A free look period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy is available for reviewing the policy terms and conditions. In case insured is not satisfied he can seek cancellation of the policy and in such event the Company will allow refund of premium after adjusting the cost of pre-acceptance of medical screening, stamp duty charges and proportionate risk premium for the period concerned provided no claim has been made until such cancellation. Free look cancellation is not applicable at the time of renewal.

LIC JEEVAN UMANG Whole Life Plan No. 845 Details

LlC’s Jeevan Umang is a non-linked, with-profits whole life assurance plan. This plan provides for annual survival benefits from the end of the premium paying term till maturity and a lump sum payment at the time of maturity or on death of the policyholder during the policy term.

LIC Jeevan Umang Policy is a whole life plan with pension cum saving plan and guaranteed 8% return on survival.


LlC’s Jeevan Umang BENEFITS:


The benefits payable under an in force policy are as under:

a) Death Benefit of Jeevan Umang:


On death before the commencement of Risk:

An amount equal to the total amount of premium/s paid without interest shall be payable.


On Death after the commencement of Risk:

Death Benefit, defined as sum of “Sum Assured on Death” and vested Simple Reversionary Bonuses and Final Additional bonus, if any, shall be payable.

Where “Sum Assured on Death” is defined as the highest of

  • 10 times of annualised premium; or
  • Sum Assured on Maturity; or
  • Absolute amount assured to be paid on death, i.e. Basic Sum Assured.

This death benefit shall not be less than 105% of all the premiums paid as on date of death.
Premiums referred above shall not include any taxes, extra amount chargeable under the policy due to underwriting decision and rider premium(s), if any.

b) Survival Benefit of Jeevan Umang: 


On the life assured surviving to the end of the premium paying term, provided all due premiums have been paid, a survival benefit equal to 8% of Basic Sum Assured shall be payable each year. The first survival benefit payment is payable at the end of premium paying term and thereafter on completion of each subsequent year till the Life assured survives or till the policy anniversary prior to the date of maturity, whichever is earlier.

c) Jeevan Umang Maturity Benefit:


On the life assured surviving to the end of the policy term, provided all due premiums have  been paid, “Sum Assured on Maturity” along with vested Simple Reversionary Bonuses (as mentioned in 3 below) and Final Additional bonus, if any, shall be payable.  

Where “Sum Assured on Maturity” is equal to Basic Sum Assured.

PARTICIPATION IN PROFITS OF JEEVAN UMANG:


Depending upon the Corporation’s experience with regard to policies issued under this plan, the policy shall participate in profits during the policy term.

During the premium paying term:

Policies shall be eligible to receive Simple Reversionary Bonuses declared as per the  experience of the Corporation during the premium paying term, provided the policy is inforce.


Final Additional Bonus may also be declared under an inforce policy in the year when such policy results into a claim by death. However, Final Additional Bonus shall not be payable under paid-up policy or on surrender of a policy during the premium paying term.

In case the premiums are not duly paid, the policy shall cease to participate in future profits during premium paying term.  


After the premium paying term {applicable only for fully paid-up policies or for paid-up policies with Maturity Paid-up Sum Assured of Rs. 2 Iakhs or more):


Under a fully paid-up policy (i.e.where all premiums payable during the term of the policy are paid) or in a paid-up policy with Maturity Paid-up Sum Assured of Rs. 2 Iakhs or more, the terms for participation of profits after the premium paying term may be in a different form  and on a differential scale depending on the Corporation’s experience under this plan at that time.


Final Additional Bonus may also be declared under the policy in the year when a policy results into a claim either by death or maturity. In addition, applicable Final Additional Bonus  for surrendering policies, if any, may also be considered in payment of Special Surrender Value.


Under a paid-up policy with Maturity Paid-up Sum Assured of less than Rs. 2 Iakhs, the policy shall not participate in future profits.  

LlC’s Jeevan Umang OPTIONAL BENEFIT:  


The following four optional riders are available under this plan. However, the policyholder can opt for either LIC’s Accidental Death and Disability Benefit Rider or LIC’s Accident Benefit Rider. Therefore, a policyholder can opt for a maximum of three riders under this plan.  


LlC’s Accidental Death and Disability Benefit Rider:


LIC’s Accidental Death and Disability Benefit Rider is available as an optional rider by payment of additional premium. This rider can be opted for at any time within the premium paying term of the Base Plan provided the outstanding premium paying term is atleast 5 years. The benefit cover under this rider shall be available upto the policy anniversary on which the age nearer birthday of the Life Assured is 70 years. Thereafter the cover shall cease.

If this benefit is opted for, an additional amount equal to the Accident Benefit Sum Assured is payable on death due to accident, provided the rider is inforce at the time of accident. In case of accidental permanent disability (within 180 days from the date of accident), an amount equal to the Accident Benefit Sum Assured will be paid in equal monthly installments spread over 10 years and future premiums for Accident Benefit Sum Assured as well as premiums for the portion of Basic Sum Assured which is equal to Accident Benefit Sum Assured under the policy, shall be waived. The premium for the portion of Basic Sum Assured which exceeds the Accident Benefit Sum Assured and premium(s) in respect of other Rider(s), if opted for, shall continue to be paid. If the policy becomes a claim by way of death before the expiry of the said period of 10 years, the disability benefit instalments which have not fallen due will be paid along with the claim amount.

The premium for this rider will not be required to be paid after the premium paying term of the base plan.

LlC’s Accidental Death and Disability Benefit Rider shall not acquire any paid-up value and the rider benefit will cease to apply, if policy is in lapsed condition.

LIC’s Accident Benefit Rider:


LlC’s Accident Benefit Rider is available as an optional rider payment of additional premium.

This rider can be opted for at any time within the premium paying term of the Base Plan provided the outstanding premium paying term is atleast 5 years. The benefit cover under this rider shall be available only during the premium paying term of the base plan. Thereafter the cover shall cease.

If this benefit is opted for and if the Life Assured is involved in an accident leading to death within 180 days from the date of accident then an additional amount equal to the Accident benefit Sum Assured is payable. However, the policy shall have to be inforce at the time of accident irrespective of whether or not it is inforce at the time of death. 

LlC’s Accident Benefit Rider shall not acquire any paid-up value and the rider benefit will cease to apply, if policy is in lapsed condition.


LIC’s New Term Assurance Rider:


LIC’s New Term Assurance Rider is available as an optional rider at the inception of the policy by payment of additional premium. The additional premium for this rider will need to be paid along with the premium of the Base Plan and any other rider(s), if opted for, during the premium paying term of the policy. The benefit cover under this rider shall be available for a term of 35 years or till the policy anniversary on which the age nearer birthday of the Life assured is 75 years, whichever is earlier. Thereafter the cover shall cease. If this rider is opted for, an additional amount equal to Term Assurance Rider Sum Assured shall be payable on death of the life assured, provided the rider cover is inforce.


LIC’s New Critical Illness Benefit Rider:


LIC’s New Critical Illness Rider is available as an optional rider at the inception of the policy by payment of additional premium. The additional premium for this rider will need to be paid along with the premium of the Base Plan and any other rider(s), if opted for, during the premium paying term of the policy. The cover under this rider shall be available for a policy term of 35 years or till the policy anniversary on which the age of the Life Assured is 75 years, whichever is earlier.

If this rider is opted for, on first diagnosis of any one of the 15 critical Illness covered under this rider, the Critical Illness Sum Assured shall be payable subject to the conditions specified in the rider circular.

LIC’s New Critical Illness Rider shall not acquire any paid-up value and the rider benefit will cease to apply, if policy is in lapsed condition.

Beyond the specific details as mentioned in this circular in respect of this rider, any additional details like refund to be made in respect of this rider on surrender of base plan etc., may be referred from the rider circular.

Note: The premiums under all the riders put together shall be subject to a ceiling of 30% of the premium of the Base policy. Any benefit arising under each of the riders shall not exceed the Sum Assured under the Basic product.

In case the age at entry of the Life Assured is less than 8 years, the risk under this plan will commence either one day before the completion of 2 years from the date of commencement of policy or one day before the policy anniversary coinciding with or immediately following the completion of 8 years of age, whichever is earlier. For those aged 8 years or more, risk will commence immediately.

Date of issuance of policy:


It is a date when a proposal after underwriting is accepted as a policy and the contract gets effected.

Date of vesting under this plan (Applicable only if the Life Assured is below 18 years on
the- date of commencement of policy):


If the policy is inforce and the Life Assured is alive on the vesting date and if a request in writing for surrendering the policy has not been received by Corporation before such vesting date from the person entitled to the policy moneys, this policy shall automatically vest in the Life Assured on such vesting date i.e. on the policy anniversary coinciding with or immediately following the completion of 18 years of age and shall on such vesting be deemed to be a contract between the Corporation and the Life Assured.

Maximum Accident Benefit Sum Assured: An amount equal to the Basic Sum Assured under the Base Plan subject to the maximum of Rs.100 lakhs overall limit taking all existing policies of the Life Assured under individual as well as group policies including policies with inbuilt accident benefit taken with Life Insurance Corporation of India and the Accident Benefit Sum Assured under the new proposal into consideration.

MODE OF PREMIUM PAYMENT:


The modes of premium payment allowable are Yearly, Half Yearly, Quarterly, and Monthly (NACH only) or through salary deductions.

LOAN on Jeevan Umang:


Loan facility shall be available under this plan after at least 3 full years premiums have been paid.

If loan is availed during the premium paying term:

The maximum loan as a percentage of surrender value shall be as under:


  • For inforce policies- upto 90%
  • For paid-up policies- upto 80%


Interest on Loan during the premium paying term shall be paid on compounding half-yearly basis to the Corporation at the rate to be specified by the Corporation at the time of taking loan under this policy. In case the loan is not repaid during the premium paying term and if there is default in interest payment, then due interest on the loan shall be recovered from survival benefits due or any other amount payable under the policy.

If loan is availed after the premium paying term:

The maximum permissible amount of new loan (where no previous loan taken earlier is outstanding) for policies which are entitled for survival benefits shall be arrived at in such a way that the effective annual interest amount payable on loan does not exceed 50% of the annual survival benefit payable under the policy.

Interest on the loan shall be recovered from the survival benefits and at the rate which
shall be specified by the Corporation when the loan is made.

In the event of default in payment of loan interest on the due dates and when the outstanding loan amount along with interest is to exceed the surrender value the policy shall be foreclosed. On foreclosure of- such policies, the difference of surrender value and the loan outstanding amount along with interest, if any, shall be paid to the policyholder and the policy will terminate.

In case a policy becomes a claim by way of death, surrender or maturity the amount of outstanding loan along with all due interest shall be recovered from the claim benefit payment.

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana Plan No. 842

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) for Senior citizens aged 60 years and above.


Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana Plan No. 842 is a Government subsidized pension Scheme which shall provide an assured return of 8% p.a. payable monthly (i.e. equivalent to 8.30% p.a.) on the pensioner surviving during the policy term of 10 years.

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) Plan No. 842 Benefits:

The benefits payable under Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana plan are as under:

Pension Payment :

On survival of the Pensioner during the policy term, Pension in arrears (at the end of each period as per mode chosen by the Pensioner) shall be payable.

Death Benefit:

On death of the Pensioner during the policy term, the Purchase Price shall be refunded to the nominee/legal heirs.

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana Plan No. 842 Maturity Benefit:

On survival of the pensioner to the end of the policy term, Purchase price and the final pension instalment shall be payable.

Eligibility Conditions and Restrictions:


Minimum Entry Age                : [60] years (completed)

Minimum Pension                  : Rs. 1,000 per month / 3,000 per quarter / 6,000 per half year / 12,000 per year

Ceiling of maximum pension is for a family as a whole i.e. total amount of pension under all
the policies allowed to a family under Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana plan shall not exceed the maximum pension limit.
The family for this purpose will comprise of pensioner, his/her spouse and dependants.

Mode of Pension Payment :


Mode of pension payment shall be monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly.


The pension payment shall be through NEFT or Aadhaar Enabled Payment System.

The first instalment of pension shall be paid after 1 year, 6 months, 3 months, or 1 month from
the date of purchase of the same depending on the mode of pension payment i.e. yearly, half-
yearly, quarterly or monthly respectively.


Pension Rates:

The pension rates are not age specific and the rate of pension for Rs.1000/— purchase price for
different modes of pension payments are as below:

Yearly :                       Rs. 83.00 pa.
Half-yearly :                Rs. 81.30 pa.
Quarterly :                  Rs. 80.50 pa.
Monthly :                    Rs. 80.00 p.a.

The pension instalment shall be rounded off to the nearest rupee.

Purchase Price:


Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) plan can be purchased by payment of a lump sum Purchase Price. The pensioner has an
option to choose either the amount of pension or the Purchase Price.

For offline sale of policies, the Purchase Price payable shall be accepted by cheques/drafts
payable on the Branch of the Bank which is member of the Local / CTS/ Speed Clearing Center.

The minimum and maximum Purchase Price under different modes of pension will be as under:

Taxes:


Statutory Taxes, if any, imposed on this Plan by the Government of India or any other
constitutional tax Authority of India shall be as per the Tax laws and the rate of tax as applicable
from time to time.

Surrender Value:


The scheme allows premature exit during the policy term under exceptional circumstances like
the Pensioner requiring money for the treatment of any critical/terminal illness of self or spouse.
The Surrender Value payable in such cases shall be 98% of Purchase Price.

Loan:


Loan facility is available after completion of 3 policy years. The maximum loan that can be
granted shall be 75% of the Purchase Price.

The rate of interest to be charged for loan amount would be determined from time to time by the
Corporation.

Loan interest will be recovered from pension amount payable under the policy. The Loan
interest will accrue as per the frequency of pension payment under the policy and it will be due
on the due date of pension. However, the loan outstanding shall be recovered from the claim
proceeds at the time of exit.


Suicide Clause: 

There shall be no exclusion on count of suicide and full Purchase Price shall be payable.


Free Look Period :

If a policyholder is not satisfied with the "Terms and Conditions” of the policy, he/she may return
the policy to the Corporation within 15 days (30 days if this policy is purchased online) from the
date of receipt of the policy.

The amount to be refunded within free look period shall be the Purchase Price deposited by the
policyholder after deducting the charges for Stamp duty and pension paid, if any.

Policy stamping :

Policy stamping charges will be at the rate of 20 paisa per thousand of Purchase Price under
this Plan.

Reinsurance:

No reinsurance is required for policies taken under Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana plan.


Assignments/Nominations

Assignment as per section 38 of the insurance Act, 1938 as amended from time to time shall be

allowed in favour of HO of india only, if pensioner opts for loan under the policy.

Nomination by the pensioner is required as per Section 39 of the insurance Act, 1938, as
amended from time to time.

The notice of nomination or change of nomination should be submitted for registration to the
office of the Corporation, where the policy is serviced. In registering nomination the Corporation
does not accept any responsibility or express any opinion as to its validity or legal effect.


Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana - Proposal Form 842




Normal requirements for claim:


All the claim payments under this plan shall be paid through NEFT/ Aadhaar Enabled Payment
System. Other requirements are as under:

For benefit payable on death of the Pensioner:


The normal documents which the claimant shall submit while lodging the claim in case of death
of the Pensioner shall be claim forms, as prescribed by the Corporation, accompanied with
original policy document, proof of title, proof of death, to the satisfaction of the Corporation. if

the age is not admitted under the policy, the proof of age of the Pensioner shall also be
submitted.

For pension payments:


The Pensioner shall submit the Life Certificate in the proforma of the Corporation or online
“Jeevan Pramaan” as enabled by Corporation in this regard at the time intervals as prescribed
from time to time. The pension payments shall be released only on receipt of the Life Certificate.

For benefit payable on Surrender:

The Pensioner shall submit the discharge form along with the original policy document, proof of
medical treatment of self/spouse and proof of age, if the age is not admitted earlier.


For benefit payable on Maturity:

The Pensioner shall submit the discharge form along with the original policy document and
proof of age, if the age is not admitted earlier.

LIC’s Accident Benefit Rider
is available as an optional rider by payment of additional premium during the term of the policy. Under an in force policy the LIC’s Accident Benefit Rider can be opted for at any time within policy term of the Base Policy provided, the outstanding policy term of the Base Policy is at least five years.


LIC AADHAAR Shila Plan 844 Auto Cover Period:


“Auto Cover Period”
under a paid-up policy is the period from due date of first unpaid premium (FUP), which includes the Grace Period. The applicable duration of Auto Cover Period shall be as under:


If at least three full years’ but less than five full years’ premiums have been paid in respect of a policy and any subsequent premium is not duly paid: Auto Cover Period of six months from the due date of first unpaid premium (FUP) shall be available.


If at least five full years’ premiums have been paid in respect of a policy and any subsequent premium is not duly paid: Auto Cover Period of two years from the due date of first unpaid premium (FUP) shall be available.


The benefits payable under a paid-up policy during Auto Cover Period shall be as follows:


On Death:

Death Benefit, as payable under an inforce policy will be paid after deduction of


(a) the unpaid premium(s) in respect of the base policy with interest thereon up to the date of death, and


(b) the balance premium(s) for the base policy falling due from the date of death and before the next policy anniversary, if any.  

On Maturity:

“Maturity Paid-up Sum Assured” is payable and shall be equal to [(Number of premiums paid/Total Number of premiums payable) x (Sum Assured on Maturity)]. In addition to the Maturity Paid-up Sum Assured, Loyalty Addition, if any, shall also be payable on maturity.

Cashless Hospitalization & Day Care Treatment

If you are admitted to a hospital for in-patient care, for a minimum period of 24 consecutive hours, we pay from room charges to operation theatre charges and more. We also pay for your medical expenses if you undergo even a day care treatment at a hospital that requires hospitalization for less than 24 hours - we cover a comprehensive range of 170 day care treatments, the highest in industry. You will also get cashless treatment at our over 4758+ network hospitals and reimbursement in any other hospital of your choice.

Pre & Post hospitalization

We cover the related medical expenses incurred by you even 30 days before your hospitalization. There may also be follow-up visits to your medical practitioner, medication that is required etc. We cover the related medical expenses incurred by you after your hospitalization also, for a period of 60 days.

Auto Recharge of your Sum Insured

If due to claims made, you ever exhaust your health cover, we recharge the entire sum insured of your policy for you, in the policy year. This is applicable on all policies. All this at no extra cost!

If the person is more than 61 yrs at the time of 1st buy of policy, they can choose 3 or 4 Lacs plans to have 'No Co-Payment' Option plan.

No 'Claim-based' loading & Get Lifetime Renewability

We want you there for you, for your entire life. That's why none of our plans have any 'Claim-based loading' of premiums at the time of renewals. The Policy can also be renewed lifelong under the prevailing Health Insurance Product or its nearest substitute approved by IRDA.

Get additional 100% No-Claim Bonus

Minimum Sum Assured

The minimum sum assured for the LIC Bima Diamond Plans should be Rs 1 lac.

Maximum Sum Assured

This plan offers maximum Rs 5 lacs of Sum Assured. You cannot take sum assured of 5 lacs under this plan. For more sum assured you can take LIC Endowment Plan 814.

Policy Term / Premium Paying Term

16/10, 20/12 & 24/15 years where 16,20 & 24 is Policy Term while 10, 12 & 15 are premium paying term.

Minimum age at Entry

LIC is a Money back plan so you can take it for your son or daughter who are older then 18 years or for yourself. The minimum age for this policy is 14 years (nbd).

Extended Cover Period

Bima Dimaond covers extended cover period, i.e for 16/10 years term policy extended cover would be next 8 years i.e. you will be covered for 24 years while for 20/12 policy you will be covered for 20 years & for 24/15 plan you will be covered for 36 years. This period starts after elapsation of  policy term and applicable for inforce policies as on the date of maturity.

Date of Commencement of Risk

Under this plan, risk will be immediately commenced from the date of issue policy.
Date of issuance of policy is a date when a proposal after underwriting is accepted as a policy and the contract gets effected between LIC and Customer.

Auto Cover 

Auto Life cover is provided for 2 years even if the premium is not paid. This benefit will be extended only if 5 policy years are completed.

LOAN

Loan facility is available in this plan only after payment of premiums are paid at least 3 full years with few below conditions:

For Inforce policies : Upto 90%

For paid up policies : Upto 80%

Death Benefits 
In case of the death of Life Assured before the date of Maturity

During the first 5 policy years “Sum Assured on Death” will be paid to the nominee.

After completion of 5 policy years but before the date of maturity: “Sum Assured on Death” and Loyalty addition (if any) will be paid to the nominee of the Life Assured.

The death benefit will not be less than the 105% of all the premium paid in the policy as at the date of death of the life assured. (The premium referred above will not include any taxes, extra amount charged due to underwriting decision and rider premium, if any.)

In case of the death of Life Assured during the extended cover period

An amount equal to 50% of Basic sum assured will be paid to the nominee.


LIC’s Accidental Death and Disability Benefit Rider

If this benefit is opted for, an additional amount equal to “Accidental Benefit sum Assured” is Payable on death due to Accident, provided the rider is inforce at the time of the accident. In the case of the accidental permanent disability (within 180 days from the date of accident) an additional amount equal to “Accidental Benefit sum Assured” is Payable in equal monthly installments spread over 10 years. The future premium will be waived for the accidental benefit rider and premiums for the portion of Basic sum assured will be waived. This rider can be taken at the inception of the policy or before the premium term is over.

LIC’s New Term Assurance Rider

If this benefit is opted for, an additional amount equal to “Term Assurance Rider sum Assured” is Payable on death to nominee, provided the rider is inforce at the time of the death of the Life Assured. This rider can be taken at the inception of the policy.


Survival Benefits

If life assured survives to the specified duration during the policy term, then a fixed percentage of Basic Sum Assured is  will be payable to the life assured. The fixed percentage in various terms are mentioned below:

Money Back

Guaranteed Money back every 4 Years, during the policy term. Bima Dimaond Money back after every 4 yrs 15% in 16 and 20 yrs term plan  and 12% of BSA (Basic Sum Assured) in 24 yrs term.

Example:

For Policy Term 16 years :
15% of BSA at the end of each of 4, 8, 12 policy year. It means if you have taken a Sum Assured of 5 Lacs, you will get 75 thousand 4th, 8th & 12th policy year.

For Policy Term 20 years :
15% of BSA at the end of each of 4, 8, 12, 16 policy year. It means if you have taken a Sum Assured of 5 Lacs, you will get 75 thousand 4th, 8th , 12th & 16th policy year.

For Policy Term 24 years :
12% of BSA at the end of each of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 policy year. It means if you have taken a Sum Assured of 5 Lacs, you will get 60 thousand 4th, 8th , 12th, 16th & 20th  policy year.

If the Life Assured survives till the end of the policy term, “Sum Assured on Maturity” along with Loyalty Addition, if any will be payable to the Life Assured.

Where “Sum Assured on Maturity” in this is

55% of Basic Sum Assured in policy term 16 years

40% of Basic Sum Assured in Policy terms 20 and 24 years.

Optional Benefits

Proposer can opt for the optional riders by payment of additional premium. Benefits under the optional rider will be available during the policy term only.
